Being a wedding photographer like me, it’s definitely tough. I do believe a true wedding photographer should be able to shoot regardless who the couple are. Good looking or normal person? Bad location? Terrible lighting? I have been through all, and always promise to myself that I’ll produce the best photo that I possibly can. That’s who I am. I believe in moments and expressions that portray the love between couples.

Having said that, I’ll be lying if I should take all credits of all the photos below because Edwin and Vania are easy couple for me. I had a field trip when shooting their pre-wedding photo

I am so looking forward shooting their wedding in Surabaya, Indonesia. It will be my first time shooting there. I can’t wait.

This could be my first time of blogging on Sunday. But I need to show to the world the real fusion is. And of course because this love bird cant wait for going to honeymoon so early after their wedding tomorrow.

Anyway, it’s been a great day yesterday. Good weather, awesome couple, helpful and lovely bridal party and great team coming with me.

Pardon me if I love our works so much, as I promised to myself that never produce second best job under my hand.

This past weeks, I met so many people who dared to tell me to blog more often. They said I was way too slack
They were right. I realised that I had so many wedding projects that I haven’t blogged since 2008. That is shocking.

Ok, new years resolution is to blog more often.

A quick recap from my previous post, I have sent my kids to Jakarta, Indonesia. They have settled, they don’t even remember who their parents are now. Just kidding! But they love living there where a lot of family surrounded them unlike in Sydney where they only spent time looking at their parents only. Please wish us that this is for the best.

As result of that, I am all over the place especially that I am super busy too with Wiki School Pedia‘s August event.

Anyway, Chhay and Linda are one funny couple. We clicked instantly especially after knowing their personalities. They weren’t afraid to open up with me. I have shot their prewedding video that I really can’t wait to show off the world and it will be premiered at their reception dinner.

Chhay obviously plans to enjoy their wedding day as he wished to have the portraits done just in case the weather won’t be on their side. So there you go. We had a quick session at The Rocks.

In that session, I shot some of them in films. I will blog them later when I have developed them.

By the way, I hope you notice that the signature is a bit different from the previous post. I am re-branding my style as we speak. After having some discussions with several people, I realised that I need to re-brand my works to get more happy couples. Watch this space soon !

Besides busy of spending time with kids, packing for their overseas move, I have also been hectic with internal training and workshop to do. Tomorrow, I’ll start my first Wiki School Pedia assignment in 2012. It’ll be a super busy year in 2012 for Wiki School Pedia. This time is to document educational materials on my friend Jenny Sun’s 3 days workshop in Sydney, Australia.

I am just back from Bali, Indonesia to shoot their wedding. I had a blast even though the weather was a super hot (I was literally soaking wet in the first hour of shooting). FYI, Bali is my fave place to shoot weddings. it’s simply because somehow the expression of people who is having their weddings there are so natural. And you know natural is our keyword So thank you guys for flying me and the team there.

It looks like Edwin has improved much in front of camera since his super uber cool pre-wedding fusion in Belitung Island back in last July. Well, it’s not bad at all as he admitted he didn’t have any photo of him in the house at all. On the contrary, El was absolutely gorgeous. She is definitely having the time of her life.

This video below is a Same Day Edit (SDE) fusion video. It was a challenge day for me to pull it out, mostly because it’s difficult for me to concentrate due to the weather. But I was lucky to have a great team behind me as I brought team from Foto Expression Sydney, the BIG films and of course our local team Foto Expression Indonesia. I am sure each of my team would blog his version of the day. Thanks for sticking with me team

The SDE features Edwin’s childhood friend from Sydney who’s unable to attend the wedding and obviously his familiar face can also be found on the last wedding we shot there too… thanks for the referral, Tri

The reception after watching the SDE surely made our day because we got a lot of good things to say about our works and of course the hug from Edwin and Elissa So check it out!!!
