Shot a fusion portrait film. Here are a bit of sneak-peek of portraits taken on that day.

I know Yusran and Chrissie for quite some time from my church. Especially for Chrissie, I know all of their family members as her dad is a close friend to my dad :D So no need introduction for me.

But friends when comes to photo session can be so awkward as they were not so accustomed to  show their couple affection to their friends (maybe for Asian :P ). What they don’t know is that I was too nervous as I was just worried to hurt friends’ feeling to know my style can be so extreme. But I just hope both of them were educated themselves that I am just an artist for my own. I want to produce something special to all of my clients with what I see them and the feeling on the day, that’s the promise. That’s the reason I seldom accepting works from friends because it’s too difficult to keep love and hate between friends and clients.

This short portraiture below is a part of the fusion portrait films that will be shown at their reception. So stay tuned for the full video of their portrait films.

In the mean time, check some of my favourites from the session.

Yusran came to Sydney, just for a couple weeks as he resides in Singapore. Thus, the only time we had for the session was that day, even though we had to do in the bit unpredictable weather.

Based on the script from the fusion portrait films we had, it started from Balmoral to Max Brenner in City.

Love their natural cheekiness.

:D simple photo like this, that’s how I named my former company Foto Expression :P the expression that makes the photo has the soul.

Half circle.. <– tips to appreciate this photo :D Don’t get it, well, I try better next time :P

Then we moved to under the harbour bridge to shoot an Opera House scenery.

I guess this is a bit too extreme as a lot of people ask where is the couple HAHAHHAA.. looks where the flash is. Just for fun as we ran out of time to fix it to get the perfect right. but I like it.

Their wedding is definitely one of the wedding I have been waiting for this year as it will be taken place in Jakarta, Indonesia this early October. So it’ll be awesome for me to enjoy the shooting at my home country again :D

Taken in between while filming their portrait films last weekend. Chrissie only had one request that she wanted to have harbour bridge for her photo. There you go. Just under the bridge. :D
