This could be my first time of blogging on Sunday. But I need to show to the world the real fusion is. And of course because this love bird cant wait for going to honeymoon so early after their wedding tomorrow.

Anyway, it’s been a great day yesterday. Good weather, awesome couple, helpful and lovely bridal party and great team coming with me.

Pardon me if I love our works so much, as I promised to myself that never produce second best job under my hand.

Anyway, here is the same day edit slideshow from yesterday.

As soon as I saw Linda’s gown and then Adiv spotted spare bubbles, I thought it would be fun to create something dreamy. There you go.

I will talk more about them when I posted their prewedding video next week. Have fun.

I am just back from Bali, Indonesia to shoot their wedding. I had a blast even though the weather was a super hot (I was literally soaking wet in the first hour of shooting). FYI, Bali is my fave place to shoot weddings. it’s simply because somehow the expression of people who is having their weddings there are so natural. And you know natural is our keyword :D So thank you guys for flying me and the team there.

It looks like Edwin has improved much in front of camera since his super uber cool pre-wedding fusion in Belitung Island back in last July. Well, it’s not bad at all as he admitted he didn’t have any photo of him in the house at all. On the contrary, El was absolutely gorgeous. She is definitely having the time of her life.

This video below is a Same Day Edit (SDE) fusion video. It was a challenge day for me to pull it out, mostly because it’s difficult for me to concentrate due to the weather. But I was lucky to have a great team behind me as I brought team from Foto Expression Sydney, the BIG films and of course our local team Foto Expression Indonesia. I am sure each of my team would blog his version of the day. Thanks for sticking with me team :D

The SDE features Edwin’s childhood friend from Sydney who’s unable to attend the wedding and obviously his familiar face can also be found on the last wedding we shot there too… thanks for the referral, Tri :D

The reception after watching the SDE surely made our day because we got a lot of good things to say about our works and of course the hug from Edwin and Elissa :D So check it out!!!

Thanks guys for all the hospitality to throw since the day we met up with.

Stay tuned for different story from Foto Expression Indonesia team and also Ken Kawitana’s version in our newly design Foto Expression blog.

Fusion film that combines some prewedding footages and wedding still + motion pictures with the concept “1st wedding anniversary”.

I think it’s been a while that I blogged a wedding photo straight away or a week after the wedding I captured.

Loanne and Andrew knocked my door to book me to agree that I was creative :D I still remember Loanne even suggested me to try my luck in short films competition. During our consultation, we have some great concepts for their prewedding fusion film. It was unfortunate some of them could be translated negative as it might bring some bad experience or the song could be literally translated negatively. But in the end, they agreed to be themselves, that is cheesy :D Ops, but I seriously I agree that’s who they are. They are funny couple who love to joke around between them. So it’s not surprising the prewedding fusion film might be different to my normal style :D

Before seeing their wedding photos and the fusion film, it’s worthwhile to see their quick portraiture session during the making of the fusion film. Check it out

Their prewedding fusion film is not entirely from the prewedding session but it’s combined with some footages and photos from the wedding day. The film was presented same day edit at their reception.

The film is based on the story of what might be happened in their first year wedding anniversary. They thought they could sit down have some picnic together and exchanging gift to each other. The ending is definitely our idea of what could happen in this one year :D We thought it will make their parents happy :D Hopefully this fiction comes true, I am on your parents side :D

Anyway, here is the fusion film “1st Year wedding anniversary”.

My wife, Ilona Lee of Foto Expression was once again to be my trusty assistant of the day helping to shoot a still image while I am fully in charge shooting the motion and also the still pictures throughout the day.

Andrew and Loanne had their ceremony at their house front yard and their reception in Silver Pearl, Cabramatta.

Here are some of my personal favourite still pictures from the wedding day.

Their kids following Andrew wherever he went :D it’s cute

Just after their bridal dance, all of their friends surrounded them with some lighter while the song of Bruno Mars’ lighter was on.

Andrew’s been working so hard the whole day :D

My favourite still picture of the day :D

Thank you guys! it’s been an awesome of having fun with you and your bridal party :D

Portrait films (in fusion) captured the up and down in their 10 years relationship.

About one month before their wedding day, was my very first time I met Khemara and Maria. Since it is my promise that every project that I do in 2011 will be personal than ever, I love meeting them in person before the wedding. After a little bit of chit-chat, then I asked them a trivial question “what do you want to be remembered by from your fusion portrait films?”. Then Khemara started to share his life and his 10 years relationship with Maria. They admitted there were ups and downs. After hearing their story, I then proposed to create a story, my wish they can see this video everytime they have a fight to remember what they’d gone thru with their relationship. It is the message from the past for present and future that they must fight for their relationship till the end. That’s what this portrait films is about.

Since I started my personal approach in 2011, I heard and created nothing but masterpieces of my works. It really transforms what I want to become. I guess the couples get to know me better, what I think and what I wish to do for their best. But on top of that, they must work hard too. In this case, they must act. :D There was one scene where we ruined Maria’s make up :D .

I will keep doing this as much as I can to produce a beautiful moment about the relationship as long as I am still appreciated. Talking about appreciation, here is what Maria wrote to me on my facebook after the meeting.

Before you watch the film, you must know both of them are Anime and games fans.

This film was premiered at their reception last Saturday. What I heard from Khemara and Maria, it’s been the hot topic that night.

I can’t thank them enough of how they treated me with nothing but with respect and trust. It’s never easy to open up their struggles to a stranger. Thank you thank you…

Please come back to this space to watch their awesome wedding fusion video. The day was rainy and a lot of traveling but their bridal party is a crack up. We still had a great time.

There are some scenes in the fusion video that featured Mcdonald restaurant brand. The wedding was back in September 2010.

Maccas is an Australian slank for Mcdonald.

Ops, I apologise that I use the publicity from the recent news about wedding at Mcdonald’s. But they really had Mcdonald at their wedding :D go check it out, then you will agree why I should title this fusion video the way it is

Jin and Michelle are just the most down-to-earth people I’ve ever met during my career. They are just too nice to be true, but they are real :D

Please don’t forget to check out their fusion portrait films featuring how they met and also how they dance in several different places. And of course Mcdonald restaurant once again was featured at their portrait films.

If you can’t see the video below, you can click here.

No no no, Jin + Michelle and I definitely are not the biggest maccas eaters. But Michelle and I definitely shared the same joke about having Mcdonald for weddings. That’s how she wanted to feed me for lunch in her wedding :D

Their wedding was definitely everything what I expected from them. The only unexpected setback was that Jin’s back kinda played up. Thus, he couldn’t dance as much as he wanted to. But he’s definitely still able to show his magic in salsa.

Michelle’s gown was from one of my favourite bridal places, Evermore bridal. Ilona, my wife, got her dress there back in 2003. Go check out their works.

Here is my favourite of portraits of the day

Thank you for Mark and Nicki to introduce them to us. They are just kind of my couples :D
