Love melbourne so much. I can’t wait for their wedding on this saturday’s wedding.

As we speak, I am getting ready to fly to Melbourne to shoot this lovely couple’s wedding. I am personally so looking forward to participate in their wedding. It’s simply because they look awesome in my camera.

It’s a typical day in Melbourne. It was gloomy. But since my travel plan was so pack so we had no choice to go ahead. It’s definitely some chilly day to remember. I guess I should thank them to be a good model during this gloomy day.

Anyway, here are some of my favourites from their gloomy pre-wedding session. All photos were shot in films except for the night scenes.

Contax 645 on Fuji Film 400ProH
Canon EOS3 on Portra 400
Nikon f100 on Ilford HP5

See you guys soon ok!

Note: Yes, I noticed that I was once again proven to be a super bad blogger. It’s been a while since my last blog post. I guess I need a blog-writer soon! :D

My life has been hectic lately. I spared myself now more to be in the business side of running Foto Expression, the BIG films and of course my pet project in Wiki School Pedia. It’s been an honour that I was still busy of shooting in this past 2 weeks. I was just back from Krabi, Thailand. Just in case you haven’t seen our work in Krabi, I tell you it’s worth to check out the BIG films’ works in that secluded area. I had the best time shooting. Please click here

This weekend will be the exciting one. I will start my career of shooting in Surabaya which I hope there will be more to come in the near future. I know that I am looking forward seeing Edwin + Vania again this weekend. They’ve been awesome in front of my camera when they visited me in Sydney a few months back. Please check out their portraiture session on my previous blog.

I didn’t shoot films a lot on this session :( but well it’s enough to satisfy that my love with film photography still continues.
All photo are developed and scanned by Richard Photo Lab.
Film: Kodak Tri-x 400 (BW) & Fuji PRO 400H (Colour)

Here are some of film shots I took on that session too.

Here are some slideshows ready for Sunday night showdown :P

Check out this blog next week!!! I am thinking to have something to give away :D

God must know how busy we (Ilona and I) were going to be in our life. That’s why He gave us two handsome (don’t think I am bias) boys (Jamie and Ryan) who were so easy to be left out and born on the same day (3 years difference). So far, We don’t have a good resume of having celebrating their birthday. We pretty much missed out most of their birthday celebration since they were born. We were either doing workshop, shooting destination weddings and now we are once again in different contingent.

Last Sunday, my boys (Jamie and Ryan) are turning 6 and 3. Like always, I know we’ll make it up for them. They knew it.

Here are some photo we took 1-2 months ago.

I happened to have my film camera with me. I had a bit leftover of Fuji Pro 400H from the last weekend wedding. There you go! Film rocks!! :D

Note: the only thing I edit was the black and white on the first photo and the last photo to give more contrast.
