They’ve been going out since high school. It’s a pleasure to hear and also to be the person who documented their love story in the portrait films (will be featured later on after their May’s wedding). In the mean time, let’s check out their quick photo session that we did it in between the shoot of portrait films.
If you haven’t seen their sneekpeak photo, it’s worth to have a look at it.
Last week was a bit of break from us especially we hung out with our family and friends and of course celebrated our boys’ birthday. Hopefully, when i got the chance i try to blog some of our photos.
Anyway, Richard and Virginia are my personal pleasure to shoot their upcoming wedding. Some of you may know the situation in my studio that I personally didn’t accept any booking between April and July 2011 since last year after i made my mind to have a bit of break after 5 years full time in this industry. But of course I didn’t reject any proposal coming to our inquiry box, I still wanted to listen their willingness and reasons of why I should go out from my own promise.
For anyone who felt a bit down or even not so comfortable after first meeting with me, it’s simply because I was really never hesitate to show my true face and my intention of accepting the project. I made the promise that I only want to accept the projects that allow me to have all of my creativities and give any reason for me to fight for it as they are my close friends. Some of them came back and were comfortable with my way of personalised service, and some of them felt a bit too much for just a wedding vendor. But that’s ok.
Why i am telling all of that because Richard and Virginia definitely showed their admiration and interests to me consistently? They even promised me to give the list of 20 reasons ‘why i should do their wedding?’ before our first meeting. And of course after seeing the list, it showed that I needed to break my own promise. It’s never about money or how lavish the wedding will be. But it’s more why I love my job.
And even they invent the quote for me “In Wiki, we trust”
What you saw below are just a very quick photo session that we took in between we shot their epic portrait films featuring their high school, Sefton High school.. yayyyyy… I am considering to open any sales stand in the school because the people come from this school are nothing but Awesome with capital A. Check it out some of behind the scene photos taken during the process here.
Without further ado, here are some of my favourites that honestly reminded how much I am falling in love all over again with my simple creative photos.

I said Richard is a very lucky man

Can you believe it if I said this is just in Cabramatta road?

Here are the crew that helped on their portrait films in the making.

Richard still kept his old photo of when they were still in high school. He wanted me to try to replicate it. With the same composition and even the background. Yes, Winnie (the girl in the background)’s standing there was the intention:D

A bit of factfile about Richard: He is a professional WNBL ref. He can be the game controller but this portrait shows how the marriage is gonna be.
*peace*

See you guys soon!!!
